This obviously requires some adjustments to the sizing of various elements and component content overflows needs to be handled nicely too.

Something that would probably be useful for stream layouts would be an option to specify an exact window width so that loading different splits won't change the window width based on the run name / split names, etc. This obviously requires some adjustments to the sizing of various elements and component content overflows needs to be handled nicely too.
